El Regreso Del Deportivo – S7 E1 – Prepping for Europe next season?

Welcome back, and here we are at season 7 and hopefully this year we can make that push into a European place for season 8.

Transfers

The main loses were Gori and Mulattieri, we have also moved on Ervin Omic and Filippo Ronnachia from midfield. Lets look at the ins.

Roberto Cabrera and Sebastiano Esposito come in to replace the 2 that we have already mentioned, Cabrera comes in as a younger back up option to Esposito, I was conscious of having to keep 2 first team players happy.

Fabrizio Bandinelli comes in as more cover in midfield, you know i love an Italian midfielder lol, but he does look he could be a player though.

Louis Sibley comes in as competition for starting spot in midfield, he is versatile and can play all roles in our midfield 3.

Youth Player Promotion

Xurxo Flores is the player making the step up this season, i have been considering Flores for the last 2 seasons but now seemed like the perfect time with the striker turn over that we have experienced, he comes in very much as a back up but hopefully can act as back up in tandem with Cabrera and get some decent games under his belt.

Pre Season Results

No surprise here really as we have a very good pre season, perhaps i should try and play some tougher opposition as we look to make they step up to the European table, but a solid win over Real Betis, who went well last season is always a good result jsut before the season opener against Villareal.

Thanks for stopping by this quick blog, fingers crossed we can have a postiive start to the year to try and reach our goals.
